TRIM TYPES
UNIVERSAL COVER TRIM
The Universal Cover Trim serves as a seamless solution where timber or laminate floors meet another floor of the same level or a slightly different height. It is commonly used when timber or laminate flooring meets existing floor coverings like stretch carpet, cork, tiles, or other materials that are slightly higher or lower than the installed flooring. Additionally, it can function as an expansion trim for larger area floors.
Available in 21 vinyl wrapped wood colors and 3 metal colors – Champagne, Silver, and Rose – the Universal Cover Trim caters to various aesthetic preferences. Ideal for both light commercial and domestic projects, it is essential to note that this trim is not designed to bear heavy loads (e.g., trolleys).
Installing the Universal Cover Trim is straightforward: begin by gluing the base plate to the floor, then insert the appropriate plastic insert into the cover trim and push it into the base plate to securely clamp it to the floor once the flooring is in place. With a generous 45mm top cover, this trim is conveniently offered in 3.4-meter lengths. A base plate and insert are necessary for installation, and the 3.4-meter kits come with three inserts to suit different flooring thicknesses.
STAIR NOSING TRIM
Our Stair Nosing Trim is available in three variations: Senior Stair Nosing (14mm), Mid Stair Nosing (12mm), and Junior Stair Nosing (8mm).
Stair Nosing is a sleek trim used for a neat finishing touch on steps and staircases. It is securely adhered to the edge of the step using permanent construction adhesive and mechanically fixed where necessary.
This trim serves as a seamless transition, elegantly joining step treads and risers (the vertical part of the step). It intelligently accommodates expansion for both the tread and riser, boasting a top coverage of 14mm. Available in 18 vinyl wrapped wood colors and 3 metal colors – Rose, Champagne, and Silver – you can choose the perfect match for your space. (As shown below.)
The Stair Nosing Trim is thoughtfully designed for use in both domestic and commercial applications. For your convenience, they are available in 3.4-meter lengths, catering to various stairway dimensions.
BORDER TRIM
Introducing our versatile Border Trim Range – catering to flooring heights of 7-22mm.
The Border trim profile offers a seamless finishing touch against sliding doors, full-length windows, and tiled edges.
For easy installation, the base profile is placed before the floor covering, with the top section and insert added last. A fantastic option for DIY installers as an alternative to End Profiles, these trim features a generous top coverage of 26mm. Available in the complete range of 18 vinyl (wood colours) and 3 metal finishes, it comes in 3.4-meter lengths, offering ample material for your projects.
END TRIM
Available in Senior Ends (14.5mm), Mid Ends (12.3mm), 3 Sized Junior Ends (9.5mm, 8.3mm), Xtra Small Junior End (5.5mm & 6.5mm in Silver, Rose and Champagne)
End Trims are one of the most common profiles. They can be used for a neat finish against sliding doors, full height floor to ceiling windows, carpets, tiled areas and other floor finishings.
This profile is glued to the floor and the floating floor slots into the trim, it has 19mm top coverage and is 3.4 metres in length.
RAMP TRIM
Most often used where timber or laminate meets WPC/vinyl, direct stick carpet/carpet tiles or raw or polished concrete, this trim is available in Rose, Silver and Champagne or a range of timber look, vinyl wrap colours.
The Ramp trim is designed for use in very light commercial and domestic use. It has a top cover of 45mm and is installed using a base plate and a plastic clamp (8mm,12mm,14mm 17mm) system that holds the trim in position.
The Ramp kits come with the senior insert and is 3.4 metres in length.
MULTI ANGLE
Multi angle trim is the perfect solution for tight-fitting areas, like under dishwasher spaces or locations where an end trim cannot be easily installed.
